North into the Canadian Maritimes

Spring in Downeast Maine is often a full on onslaught of wind and clouds, with the occasional calm and sunny day. This past weekend, I awoke to a scene of zero wind and absolutely flat seas combined with the craziest of cloud structures.

I quickly grabbed the Mavic Pro 3 and got it airborne as fast as possible. While this drone is performs amazing in the wind, it is simply spectacular in calm conditions. I spent a good 30 minutes flying, taking pictures and shooting some video. I am stoked about the results and feel that one or two of these will make beautiful prints.

If you are wondering wether the Pro 3 is a worthwhile upgrade, I say resounding YES. Not only is the camera more refined, but the ability for the drone to fly comfortably in any conditions is simply amazing. Best DJI drone yet.
