Coastal Maine Bike Photography Summit

WHAT IS IT:

This will be my first Bike Photography Summit, something I hope becomes an annual event. For this first year, invitations are going out to a very select community of bike, adventure and photography enthusiasts. The goal is to bring a group of like-minded individuals together in an attempt to further the world of adventure cycling and photography and to share with you this amazing area of coastal Maine. Creating inspiration and common bonds through shared passions.

The event will be hosted at Cohill’s Inn, located in the scenic Downeast Maine region. The week will be spent drinking strong coffee, and delicious whiskey; eating fresh and local from the sea and the farm. We will ride roads, gravel, and do a 2 or 3 night bikepacking outing depending on weather. We will share images, and stories and strengthen bonds. This will be an opportunity for each of us to grow our photography skills and our inner selves.

October is an amazing time to visit Maine. The weather is spectacular, and the leaves are gorgeous. The hard-shell lobsters are plentiful, and the air is crisp. A gathering like this is intended to build and strengthen bonds between individuals and push each of us to do more. Do more with the cycling industry; do more with our love of photography; do more to become better human beings. Just do more!

The cost of the event, food, and lodging is zero. This will be a donation based event. Come participate and at the end, donate what you think is appropriate. I have allocated our entire inn to this event for the week so there will be no outside distractions. We will cater a breakfast and a dinner, provide access to our beer taps, espresso machine and whiskey shelves. We have 9 rooms available with one double occupancy room. Spouses and significant others are welcome to attend, but we do ask that your donations reflect the additional food and drink costs that will be incurred.
